Dawn Colomb-Lippa, PA-C

Ms. Colomb-Lippa has been a Physican’s Assistant since 1998. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from State University of New York at Buffalo and worked as an Occupational Therapist for 5 years. She then continued her studies to earn a Master of Health Science – Physician Assistant from Quinnipiac College in Connecticut. Ms. Colomb-Lippa remains closely involved with her alma mater by teaching as an Adjunct Professor in Physician Assistant Studies. She has worked as a Surgical Physician Assistant at Hartford Hospital, an Emergency medicine Physician Assistant at Sharon Hospital, an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant at Charlott-Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, and a Physician Assistant at Tribury Orthopaedics in Waterbury, which was one of the three groups that merged to form NOSS.

 

Ms. Colomb-Lippa is a member of the AAPA, Conn APA, Society for the Perservation of PA History and PAOS.  She has also been a peer reviewer for JAAPA and on the JAAPA Editorial Board since 2006.  In addition, Ms. Colomb-Lippa has been an abstract reviewer for Clinical and Scientific Affairs Council (CSAC) of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and a board member and newsletter editor for Connecticut Association of Physicians Assistants.
