Jarob N. Mushaweh, MD, ABNS

Dr. Mushaweh is a well-trained, highly experienced neurosurgeon. He has developed a special interest in microsurgery, and has completed extensive training in that field. Dr. Mushaweh has a broad base of knowledge and extensive experience with spine surgeries, ranging from microdiscectomy to complex surgical interventions. He is a well-known and respected neurosurgeon, particularly in workers’ compensation circles.

After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Mushaweh volunteered as a medical doctor, treating victims of the civil war in Lebanon at its onset in 1975. He then returned to the United States, receiving general surgical training at St. Francis Hospital and the University of Connecticut Medical Center. He then joined the neurosurgical training program at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. Dr. Mushaweh completed his training as Chief Resident in Neurosurgery in June of 1983, and is board certified in the field of neuro/spine surgery. His practices primarily in Waterbury, CT at both St. Mary’s and Waterbury Hospitals, and enjoys privileges at other area hospitals.
