Dr. Seema B. Vasu is a family medicine trained physician with fellowships in Sports Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. Her field of study includes treatment of ankle and knee injuries, mid-shaft clavicle fractures, skin infections and heat illnesses, stress fractures and osteoporosis in pregnancy, PCOS, migraines, stress tests and vertigo.
Dr. Vasu graduated from Rosemont College with a Bachelors of Arts in Biochemistry and a minor in psychology. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital and her Sports Medicine Fellowship at Southern Illinois University. She also completed her Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship at Marine Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency.
She has presented at multiple CME courses for athletic coaches and also presented at conferences for sports medicine. Her professional affiliations include American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Osteopathy. She is also Neuromusculoskeletal board eligible. Her certifications are in CAQ Sports Medicine, Board Certified Family Practice, Osteopathic Board Certified Family Practice and ACLS, PALS and BLS. She is fluent in Hindu and has working knowledge of Spanish, Punjabi and Gujarati.
