Dr. Mathew is board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and fellowship trained in Pain Management. After completing his undergraduate degree at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, Dr. Mathew continued his medical education at Albany Medical College. He completed both an Internal Medicine internship and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Dr. Mathew is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Dr. Mathew specializes in non-operative pain relief. He is trained in a variety of interventional spine procedures, including lumbar and cervical epidural steroid injections, lumbar and cervical facet joint injections, lumbar and cervical blocks and electrodiagnostic medicine.
